What We Do - Overview of Our Ministry Work
Our Mission Statement is, To Share The Living Gospel in Norway & Beyond! There is a weight and significance in Jesus’ last words before he ascended to heaven in speaking to the 11 disciples The Great Commission.
18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

IMI Church Partnership
Since January 2020, we have walked in faithful partnership on the mission field with IMI Church being a Free-Independent Church in Stavanger, Norway. Together as IMI Church and Shipley Norway, we seek to fulfill living out God’s Kingdom here on earth until Jesus returns. Read more about why we chose to partner with IMI Church here [link pending].
Presently Derrick serves as the International Pastor in being a part of the church leadership team. This role has expanded and evolved in many ways since 2020, but the core areas are as follows:
Lead and Oversee IMI Global Family Initiatives in the everyday life of the local church in a city of over 180+ nationalities.
Lead and Oversee the IMI Global Family House Churches which are English speaking Life Groups/Bible Studies that represent many different nationalities.
Maintain Relationship with U.S. Partners/Supporters being Churches, Families and Individuals that make our mission possible in serving alongside of IMI Church.
